Thank you everybody who stopped in on the day of the event here at the station!  We managed to raise about $4,000.00 that day alone including the drive-thru, silent auction, cash donations and toy donations.

Thank you to all the local businesses who donated cash this year!  Because of your donations we added $2,700.00 to the over all total.

Thank you to everyone who dropped off toys and those who are STILL dropping off toys.  After the day of our kick off we have managed to collect over $5,000.00 in toys!



Toys for Kids

"Toys for Kids" is a local program run by the Heartland Detachment Marine Corps League and not to be confused with "Toys for Tots", which is a national program.  All donations to TFK's stay in the Brainerd Lakes area.

3Wi has been involved with the Heartland Detachment Marine Corps League's "Toys for Kids" program for over 20 years.

For the last 6 years we have hosted their kick-off day with an outdoor, live on-air event, which includes refreshments, treats, visits from local dignitaries (even Santa & Mrs. Claus), a silent auction, and lots of fun.

The event is attended by Marine Corps League volunteers who spend the day outside encouraging our listeners and passers-by to stop and donate.

This event is very generously supported by Brainerd area businesses, through cash donations, silent auction items, and food and beverages donations.
